Real Estate Breakdown in Oakville’s Neighbourhoods: Joshua’s Creek

Tags: Schools, Detached Homes, Iroquois Ridge

Joshua’s Creek is one of Oakville’s newer neighbourhoods, developed in the mid 1990s and early 2000s. It is bounded by Dundas St. to the north, 9th Line to the East, Upper Middle Road to the south, and Glenashton/Grand Blvd to the west.

Detached homes are predominant in Joshua’s Creek with a smaller amount of freehold and condo townhomes. Like the Wedgewood Creek neighbourhood, Iroquois Ridge Community Centre is a major draw for residents as it offers a library, public pool, community space, fitness facility, and sporting fields; especially good for families.

The Upper Middle road shopping facility offers residents convenient access to groceries, restaurants and other services. Highway access is very convenient and Oakville and Clarkson GO stations are accessible. There are excellent schooling options in Joshua’s Creek which include public and catholic primary and secondary schools.

The newer and larger homes in Joshua’s Creek result in a selling price that is above the average for Oakville. For the first six months of 2015, the average selling price was above $1 million.
